What about next summer?
Age-Up Projector
Type a swimmer's name. We'll project them into the bracket they'll race in next summer, then show where their current PB would have ranked in that bracket's most recent competition.
How it works
- 1. We take the swimmer's age at their most recent ISL Champs swim.
- 2. We add a year to project them into next summer's age bracket.
- 3. For each event they swim, we drop their current PB into the most recent competition for that bracket and show their rank, the leader, and the cohort size.
Most useful for kids on a bracket boundary (currently 6, 8, 10, 12, or 14). For kids staying in the same bracket, it shows where they stand right now.
Projections assume the swimmer holds their current PB. Real life involves dropping time — most swimmers improve a season over season. Treat this as the conservative case.
